Sustainability for a company of our size is about consistent operating choices over time. We host our own infrastructure in Sweden, work with long-term customers and suppliers, and prefer software and platforms that we can maintain ourselves rather than disposable solutions.
This page does not include carbon accounting, formal environmental reports or third-party certifications. We only publish what we can stand behind.
A few principles that shape how we run the company.
The company, its team and its infrastructure are based in Sweden. We do not outsource operations or move data outside the EU without reason.
We build and maintain platforms that we expect to operate for years, not platforms designed to be replaced every few cycles.
We use, refurbish and reuse hardware where we can within hosting and IT services rather than discarding equipment that still works.
We choose suppliers who match our long-term operating model — Swedish or Nordic where reasonable, and avoid unnecessary supplier chains.
Webbfabriken is a small team. We aim for stable employment, ongoing learning and reasonable working hours rather than scale-driven growth. Most team members have been with the company for several years.
