Business model

Webbfabriken delivers four integrated capabilities to its customer base. Most customers engage in more than one capability over time, which is the foundation of the recurring relationship the company builds.

Recurring revenue

Managed hosting, web operations, IT support and cybersecurity are delivered as ongoing services with monthly or annual fees. This part of the business produces predictable revenue and grows with the customer base.

Project revenue

Web design, web development and one-off engagements (migrations, incident response, IT installations) generate project-based revenue and frequently lead into recurring services.

Proprietary platform

WF SecurityCloud™ is the company’s own cybersecurity platform, used internally and licensed to customers as part of hosting and security packages.

Operational base

Webbfabriken operates its own infrastructure in Sweden and runs delivery, hosting and support from the same team. This keeps unit costs predictable and supplier dependencies low.

Strategic direction

A few clear priorities guide Webbfabriken’s development.

Deepen integrated delivery

Continue to combine web, hosting, IT and cybersecurity for SMB and mid-market customers who prefer one accountable partner.

Expand the proprietary platform

Continue to develop WF SecurityCloud™ as the security foundation for hosted environments and partner deployments.

Operate independently

Maintain own infrastructure, own platform and direct customer relationships rather than reselling third-party stacks.

Risk factors

Webbfabriken is exposed to the same general risks as other technology service businesses operating in the Swedish market.

  • Cybersecurity events — incidents affecting hosted customer environments could lead to reputational and operational impact, despite the security posture in place.
  • Concentration risk — the company has a long-term customer base with some customers contributing a meaningful share of revenue.
  • Key personnel — as a privately held company led by its founder, leadership continuity is an important factor for long-term planning.
  • Regulatory changes — evolving regulation around data protection, cybersecurity and information security may require continuous investment in compliance work.
  • Supply chain dependencies — although Webbfabriken operates its own infrastructure, certain upstream dependencies (network operators, software vendors) remain outside the company’s direct control.
